Welcome to Penozu, a premier pet boarding facility dedicated to providing exceptional care for your beloved pets. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please review these terms carefully before booking our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our facility, making a reservation, or utilizing any of our pet boarding services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Service Description

Penozu provides professional boarding services for domestic pets, including but not limited to dogs, cats, and other household animals. Our services include:

  • Safe and comfortable accommodation facilities
  • Regular feeding according to your pet's dietary requirements
  • Daily exercise and playtime activities
  • Basic grooming and hygiene maintenance
  • 24/7 supervision and monitoring
  • Emergency veterinary care coordination when necessary

3. Booking and Reservations

3.1 Reservation Requirements

All reservations must be made in advance through our website, phone, or in-person visit. We recommend booking at least 7 days prior to your desired boarding dates, especially during peak seasons and holidays.

3.2 Deposit and Payment

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total boarding fee is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance must be paid upon drop-off or pick-up of your pet. We accept cash, credit cards, and electronic transfers.

4. Health and Vaccination Requirements

For the safety and well-being of all animals in our care, we require the following:

  1. Current Vaccinations: All pets must be up-to-date on required vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and bordetella (for dogs), and FVRCP (for cats).
  2. Flea and Tick Prevention: Pets must be on a current flea and tick prevention program.
  3. Health Certificate: A veterinary health certificate issued within 30 days of boarding may be required for extended stays.
  4. Medical Records: Copies of vaccination records must be provided before the first boarding date.

5. Pet Owner Responsibilities

As a pet owner utilizing our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your pet's health, behavior, dietary needs, and medical conditions
  • Inform us of any behavioral issues, aggression, or special requirements
  • Supply adequate food, medications, and comfort items for your pet's stay
  • Ensure your pet is in good health at the time of drop-off
  • Provide emergency contact information and authorize emergency veterinary care

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made 7 days or more before the boarding date: Full refund minus the deposit.

Cancellations made 3-6 days before the boarding date: 50% refund of the total fee.

Cancellations made less than 3 days before or no-shows: No refund will be provided.

7. Liability and Indemnification

While we take every precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of your pet, Penozu shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, death, or loss that may occur during boarding, except in cases of gross negligence. Pet owners agree to indemnify and hold harmless Penozu, its employees, and agents from any claims arising from their pet's stay at our facility.

8. Emergency Veterinary Care

In the event of a medical emergency, Penozu reserves the right to seek immediate veterinary care for your pet at your expense. We will make every reasonable effort to contact you before seeking treatment, but if we cannot reach you, we will proceed with necessary medical care in the best interest of your pet.

9. Personal Belongings

While we take care to safeguard your pet's personal items (toys, bedding, bowls), Penozu is not responsible for loss or damage to these items. We recommend labeling all belongings with your pet's name.

10. Behavioral Standards

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate boarding for any pet that displays aggressive behavior, poses a danger to staff or other animals, or is found to have contagious illnesses. In such cases, owners will be contacted immediately for pick-up, and fees will be charged on a pro-rata basis.

11. Modifications to Terms

Penozu reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
